Serving as Vice President of BC and the Yukon, Vicki Heron, is a senior environmental compliance practitioner with over 18 years’ experience in providing support in relation to regulatory control placed on industry by planning and environmental regulations.

Vicki’s key area of technical expertise is in the project management of Environmental Assessment (EA) and Environmental Permitting (EP) projects within the transport, power and energy (LNG, wind farm, biomass, CCGT and gas transmission), water, waste and manufacturing sectors. As a result of her experience and technical background Vicki is able to manage large projects and multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate the production of robust, focused, cohesive and clear documentation to the highest standard while minimizing any project risks and managing the project finances, program and quality in accordance with client and stakeholder requirements.

While specializing in EA and EP, Vicki has also managed projects within a wide range of areas including, First Nation engagement and employment, stakeholder consultation, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, environmental management systems, program evaluation, environmental training and resource efficiency.

Aside from her project management and direction experience Vicki is experienced and excels in leadership and operations management and throughout her career has had direct responsibility for the leadership (managerial and strategic), direction and mentoring of a defined group of staff of varying grades.
