Jason has extensive knowledge of environmental science applications including contaminated sites investigation and remediation. His skills relate specifically to investigation and assessment design and implementation; contaminant characterization; contaminant fate and transport assessment; remedial design and installation; audit recommendations; public consultations; regulatory liaison; and project management.
He has an expert understanding of the BC Contaminated Site Regulation and Hazardous Waste Regulation under the Environmental Management Act, as demonstrated by his Contaminated Sites Approved Professional (CSAP) designation as a Standards Assessment Specialist. Jason also has a thorough understanding of federal policies and procedures relating to the Canadian Council for Ministers of the Environment (CCME) guidelines and CEAA environmental assessments.
