Eriko is an experienced project manager who specializes in complex projects that require a collaborative approach. A strong communicator with over 15 years of experience in management roles, she has developed expertise in environmental assessment, marine conservation, sustainability, strategic planning, business case analysis, non-profit management, and cross-sector partnerships. Drawing on her experience leading multi-disciplinary teams large and small, Eriko’s skill is in identifying the subtle needs of each project or task, developing the strategy and framework for execution, and harnessing the energy and skills of each contributor to achieve clear and quality results to her client’s top environmental and sustainability challenges.
Eriko’s work history includes the following:
- Roberts Bank Terminal 2 (Vancouver Fraser Port Authority), a major marine infrastructure project in British Columbia undergoing a federal panel review (under Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012).
- Habitat Enhancement Program (Vancouver Fraser Port Authority), a program focused on creating, restoring, and enhancing fish and wildlife habitat in British Columbia.
- Ocean Wise Seafood Program (Ocean Wise), a program designed to make it easy for consumers across Canada to make sustainable seafood choices.
- Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup (Vancouver Aquarium), a conservation initiative designed to promote understanding of shoreline litter issues by engaging Canadians across the country to rehabilitate shoreline areas through cleanups.
