Eriko is an experienced project director who excels at leading complex projects and energizing diverse teams. A strong communicator with over 18 years of experience in management roles, she has developed expertise in environmental assessment, marine conservation, sustainability, strategic planning, business case analysis, non-profit management, and cross-sector partnerships. Eriko leads multi‑disciplinary teams to achieve clear and quality results to her client’s top environmental and sustainability challenges.
Eriko’s project experience includes the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 project for the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority, a major marine infrastructure project in British Columbia undergoing a federal panel review. She also supported the establishment of the Habitat Enhancement Program for the port authority, a program focused on creating, restoring, and enhancing fish and wildlife habitat in BC. Other high profile projects in her portfolio include her time at the Ocean Wise Conservation Association (formerly the Vancouver Aquarium), where she established and grew the national profile of the Ocean Wise Seafood Program, designed to help Canadian consumers to make sustainable seafood choices, and the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, a conservation initiative designed to promote understanding of shoreline litter issues by engaging Canadians across the country to clean and rehabilitate shoreline areas.
