Elyse MacDonald is an environmental professional with over 16 years of experience in project management for environmental, aquatic and terrestrial ecology, environmental permitting and approvals, and environmental monitoring projects. Elyse has been involved in projects across western and northern Canada, in a range of sectors including renewable energy, mining, transportation, infrastructure development, and oil and gas. Elyse has deep experience in the planning, permitting, and operation of hydroelectric facilities and has led the implementation of operational monitoring programs for multiple hydroelectric projects. She has considerable experience with environmental permitting application requirements, including EIAs with oil sands developments, and specialized training and expertise in the planning and implementation of sediment and erosion control practices. Elyse’s project management skills and experience include planning and scheduling field programs including management of staff resources, overseeing delivery of workplans by technical teams, budget preparation and tracking, client and regulatory liaison, scope tracking, managing technical writing, and completing overall report review and submission to the client.
