Andrew Bannon is a registered Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience working for public and private sector clients conducting environmental site assessments, remediation, and risk management projects in Canada.
Andrew’s areas of expertise include site assessment and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons and metals in soil, groundwater and vapour. Furthermore, Andrew has extensive technical experience in developing / implementing specifications for remediation tender documents, Remedial Action Plans (RAPs) and Risk Management Plans (RMPs), remedial options evaluations / analyses, and opinions of probable cost for remediation.
Andrew’s education, experience and communication skills enable him to work effectively with clients, regulators, contractors and technical personnel of varied backgrounds. Through his experience, Andrew has gained extensive knowledge of Provincial and Federal legislation such as the Ontario Regulation 153/04, Hazardous Waste Regulation, the BC MOE Contaminated Sites Regulation (BC CSR), the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment (CCME) Canadian Environmental Quality Guidelines, and the Yukon Contaminated Sites Regulation (YCSR).
